The Millennial Milestones Project formally began at the kickoff conference on January 19 & 20, 2010 at Christ the King Seminary. This conference gave participants the knowledge and tools to create solutions within parish life that will connect with young adult Catholics. Parishes also learned about a grant funding opportunity through the Foundation that can be used to craft a new initiative in young adult ministry. Participation in this conference was required for parishes that plan to apply for grant funding.
The Millennial Milestones Conference was provided through the generosity of the Foundation of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Buffalo.
Thank you to the over 150 people (representing over 50 parishes) who attended the two-day conference. The sessions were inspiring and informative, and the participants exhibited great hope for the future of our church's outreach to young adults.
